Bantam Fire Company, formerly known as Bantam Fire Department, was established by the Borough of Bantam in 1916 in Connecticut. The company provides firefighting, rescue and emergency medical services. It has been supported by the Bantam Ladies Auxiliary to raise money for supplies, equipment and events. The company offers a variety of banquet and catering services for weddings, reunions, anniversaries and birthday parties. Bantam Fire Company s banquet hall has a seating capacity for up to 200 individuals. It has a fleet of vehicles from GMC, Freightliner, Chevrolet and Ford. The company also conducts several extracurricular activities, such as fire prevention week, summer carnival, Christmas celebration and ice rescue drill.
