Situated on the town square (The Village Green), it is the geographic center of Bar Harbor, which makes it the top choice for summer and winter travelers. This is a fantastic boutique hotel that feels more like an Inn. All guest rooms are slightly different and have their own character. If you looking for a standard hotel chain, this is not the place for you. However, if you’re looking for location, character, cleanliness and 5-star customer service, the Acadia Hotel – Downtown can not be beat! This small family owned and operated hotel takes pride in keeping the rooms updated and renovated. Additionally, they go above and beyond to make sure each and every guest has a memorable experience not just at the hotel, but in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park as a whole. As a bonus, the hotel offers free parking for every guest - a big plus in downtown Bar Harbor. (Cars arriving late or large vehicles may have to park at the hotel’s annex lot half a block away.)
