We moved into Mary Lane Estates in May of 2011. We were given a newly remodeled apartment and a month free of rent. Connie, the landlord was horrible to deal with. When I put our 30 day notice in June of 2012, the 1st was a Sunday so we handed our form in on that Monday. She said she could not accept it and that we would have to stay until August. Then she said she would do us a favor but not to tell anyone. She said we could go ahead and leave July 1st but we would surrender our security deposit as July's rent. So that is what we did. A couple of years later we applied for a rental property and we're denied. Connie had said we didn't pay rent and we're unreliable. Do NOT trust her.

Never move into Mary Lane Estates, Barboursville, WV. The lnadlord, Connie Greger sells drugs from her office, and she only keeps the drug dealers around. NOT A PLACE FOR CHILDREN! Police are always at the office, and Connie is hard to get along with and looks for anything to evict you. She also smuggles out more money for rent and "special favors" and lets the property get over-grown with weeds and trash so she can go on vacation.
