Knox Central High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It is affiliated to the Knox County District. The school s curriculum offers subjects, such as English, mathematics, business studies, foreign languages, arts, science and physical education. It also provides vocational education to students that include carpentry, manufacturing and technology. It has athletic teams participating in cross-country, football and basketball tournaments. The school has a student council and various clubs, including beta, freshmen, drama, travel and community services club. Knox Central High School has an enrollment of more than 800 students, and is located in Barbourville, Ky.
