The previous complaint about WDO inspection was totally confirmed by another independent company and a treatment was necessary for termite control

Tony et al have been providing excellent pest control services for over 15 years. I am always delighted to see dead bugs a few days later!! Kind friendly service at a fantastic price.

Very upsetting dealing with Bardstown Enterprise INC, a pest control company (an unusual name for a pest control company). First, Tony Meeks, owner was paid to do Wood Destroying Organism Report, WDO, and he was upset when I would not give him the lockbox code to our vacant house. I had never meet Tony previously nor had I done business with his company. I am a very cautious person and told him nicely someone would be there to let him in. He was clearly aggravated and said other people give him codes all the time. Next, we get the report back and it stated we had termite tubes in the crawl space but no live termites. We searched with our contractor and found not tubes. When I nicely asked Mr. Meeks for photos and if he could please show us where these tubes where located he refused unless we paid him to come back out. In business I follow the philosophy trust but verify. Mr. Meeks had no proof to backup what he was saying, which could cost us hundreds of dollars. He said his report was proof enough and said we should trust his word, a man we had never met nor do business with. He said no one ever questioned him in the past. When I asked him, in a text, how many tubes he had found and what their length were he ignored my question. He kept saying 20% of the homes he inspects has tubes. Three times I told him that was not what I was asking, and I asked the question again. Finally, he said we had 3 tubes but failed to mention the length. A forth time, I asked what were the length of the tubes? He finally said less than 12 inches. With all that had happened I did not believe him. When he refused to show proof I knew he was lying. I could tell he was not use to being questioned about this work. When someone’s opinion stands to cost me hundreds of dollars I will always question it. All Mr. Meeks had to do was show us proof through photos and tell us where the tubes were located but he refused. Needless to say, we did not use is company to treat for termites and he is not allowed back on any of my properties. In doing research on this company I found out their previous name was Bardstown Termite and Pest Control. I believe they had a bad reputation and too many complaints and had to change their name. STAY AWAY AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!
