The apartments are a decent size, that is the only nice thing I can say. The female owner is very nosy and walks the grounds all hours of the night. The unit the owner stays in is cluttered inside and out, their porch is full of things left behind by tenants that they have collected for no apparent reason because nothing ever moves. There are broken down vehicles through out the parking areas, a few of which belong to the owners. Broken appliances at back doors, that have been removed from units and left. Poorly maintained heating and air units contribute to high utility bills. The rent is too high to be living in a junk yard! They never call technicians to fix anything! Try to do it all on their own. They charge different prices for the same size units.

I have been living here for a while. This is a very nice complex that is well kept, clean, in a quiet neighborhood. My experience has been very pleasant & good for my children & myself. There is NO crime in the neighborhood because they work hard @keeping it that way. If any arrests have been made it apparently occurred in the home of the review posted by Keke S., which had a lot of activity when they were here because they had too many people at their unit all the time. It hurts me to read misleading comments that come from disgruntled tenants who were not the best themselves who caused a lot of unnecessary disturbance to the neighborhood from what I was able to observe when they lived here. The units are very reasonably priced. They are the largest units in Barnesville, come with appliances,and are large. The units are clean and are kept up.The landlords care about the community and are attentive to the needs of the tenants and work hard to keep a quiet, peaceful environment for all

I have read the most recent reviews and can confirm that they inaccurate. I've the opportunity to speak with the tenant who post this last review to know that these are the comments from a disgruntled tenant, not BC of anything the landlord is doing to them but BC of the way she's personally and what they are trying to do.

I just moved out of these apartments. They are nasty, not well kept, and the management doesn't attend to their tenants well. It's a shock to me that anyone had a positive experience here. Over priced for what you get, and crime in the neighborhood. Witnessed three arrests. Don't do it.

I lived at Towns Edge for three years.

My unit was very clean and I was very impressed. It was affordable and the owners Mr.& Mrs. Gilbert are very kind hearted hard working people. If I ever had any problems or anything needed to be fixed all I had to do was call them and they fixed it in a timely manner. There are children in the neighborhood which was excellent for my son and the school bus picked him up every morning. Door to door service to and from school. I also liked the fact that everything was five minutes away, the gym, the grocery store, the college campus which was great because I was a student. I would recommend this complex to anyone!
