Provided by YPmobileI went to adopt a 12 pound siameese male they said they had. When I saw him I knew God answered my prayer. I wanted best friend for 7 pound siameesefemale. I came home with the sweetest most loving boy ever. He is however neither siameese nor 12 pounds. They were great in showing me and telling all about him I have no issues with them and have what I really wanted another wonderful Himalayan. I love him and he me already. Thank you Jefferson County Animal Control. He does weigh in at 18 pounds by the way

Provided by YPmobileThe lady at the front desk in the office with the dirty dish water blond stringy hair that looks like it gets no attention is very rude and very unprofessional and has absolutely no customer service skills what so ever and top of all that she has no sympathy or compassion for any of the dogs or other animals in or outside of their facility

Provided by YPmobileThe officers here have no compassion. And the office is a mess. I get that they don't have alot of resources. However when the officer involved in a dog bite situation knows a family is low on income they still fine you to the maximum extent. As if having to put my dog down that I had for merely 2 wks, I had to pay $150 to do so. Which I get. But then Christmas week and 2 months later I'm also written 3 tickets and have to go to court. The officer had the option to not write the tickets. He knew I couldn't afford to save my dog. He know I just got him too. But he gave me tickets for not having vvaccination ( which I explained previous owners said he had) and tickets for no "owners license"? What is that even? Then for allowing my dog to run at large. Clearly he knew the dog pushed his way out the front door. I didn't just let him out. He had no compassion. 2 months later knowing I couldn't afford to even save the dog he chose to write tickets. They're all about $$$$. I was told in office he could decide not to write tickets. I fully cooperated. And paid out $150 to have him put down. He knew I didn't even have that to give. So he waits till Christmas to write tickets and send Me before a judge. Thanks jcac!
