Established in 1969, Arnett C. Lines School serves more than 600 students in grades kindergarten through five. The student-teacher ratio in the school is 18-to-1. The school s curriculum includes reading and writing, language arts, foreign language, math, science and social studies. It is equipped with a computer lab, multipurpose room, library, gym and a media center. The school is recognized by the United States Department of Education, as a Blue Ribbon school with excellence in education. Based in Barrington, Ill., the school is a part of the Barrington Community Unit School District.
