Barrington Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. It offers academic programs in reading, language arts, mathematics and science. The school also offers classes in music, technology education, social studies, and health and physical education. Its media center provides access to the Internet and has a collection of books, catalogs, encyclopedias, newspapers and magazines. Barrington Middle School has an athletics department that offers various sports activities, such as cross country, basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, softball and wrestling.
