Francesca's is a great norther...

Francesca's is a great northern Italian eatery. Its menu is similar to other locations scattered around Chicago. The decor is a dark wood with white table covers, and the wait staff is always happily attentive. If there is something that isn't on the menu, they are very accommodating. The bread always comes out hot, a detail I appreciate. This is a great place for a date night, but it's also very family friendly. The pastas are flavorful and come in generous servings. The chicken and fish dishes are fresh and full of body. I've never had a disappointing dish.
