I took an evening dress in to have it shortened. I asked for 3 in. off the bottom. The attendant measured the front of the dress & determined the length & then subtracted 3 in. Since the dress had a small train, I asked that the dress be the same length front & back. That is exactly what I got. Unfortunately, they did not shorten the hem length on sides. He also told me they would steam the dress & did not. What was done was shoddy work at best. My advice? Take it to Victorville
