Nicer surroundings do not reflect the actual care. More money should be spent on care services and professional personnel than on cosmetics of the facility. My mother has received care that by medical standards is neglect which includes lying/sitting in her own waste for unknown time leading to additional health care issues -- issues for which the facility feels no sense of shame or responsibility. Family has had to request help for Mom as no staff takes any initiative in maintaining patient care and doing follow-up checks. Another person noted the charge nurse will lie to your face and I absolutely agree - not only lie but is condescending and rude. If you are looking for pretty this is the place -- if you are looking for compassion and professional care, look elsewhere.

Fantastic staff, great facility, and forward thinking vision! We want to see our guests get well and be better than they were before hospitalization. We are the place to be to recover and get back to your life!

My mother has been in other rehab centers and since she has been there they have the focus of getting the patients back to where they were before the incident that occurred to put them there. They are ther for the patient and are so intuned to making the patient better.The food is excellent and preparef for the patients individual desires from the menu. And if you want to eat with you loved one it only costs five dollars and the food is excellent.

My father has been at this facility for two weeks. The working staff is very pleasant. That being said everything else at the facility is very poor. It will take you over an hour for anyone to come to your room to help you once you have pushed the help button. For two weeks now I have been told that it's because they are short handed, that is not my problem that you are short handed. How am I supposed to explain to my father that he has to wait and be in pain because they are short handed. The head of nursing will just flat out lie to your face. The physical therapy is very lax, they told my father one day that the rehab room was busy so they would just come back another day. If you have the ability to go somewhere else please do so. At least do some research and ask the hard questions.

I have been around nursing facilities all my life, as my mother was a charge nurse in nursing homes as well in hospitals and now she is a resident in one of the finest facilities I have ever encountered. All the staff is very efficient and very kind. You will not find one any cleaner and such a happy environment! My mother loves it and she loves the staff. It is such a relief that I know that she is well taken care of and loved!
