Mike came highly recommended but this is my experience with him. We had a house that was a mess inside which we kept apologizing for when he came to look at the job. He assured us it was not a problem. I was sick so I couldn't be there the week things were being boxed and moved. They didn't use all of the boxes we had bought from American Vanlines. They charged us for Uhaul boxes. We paid $4,900 for five days. Mike was gone the last day and a half. Nothing in our yard had been packed which he had agreed to. He basically told me it was all my fault because it was such a mess. We owned our own business in Seattle for 30 years and always made good, right or wrong. Instead he asked me who had owned my house before I and referred to my ex-husbnad as "your boyfriend or whatever." Things were broken which he shrugged off the same way. That was last summer. We just got into the garage that our things were hauled to for storage. Boxes are crushed, things are broken, sculptures are not packed, a custom glass table top is laying bare on top of an antique dresser that was in perfect condition, but probably not now. My husband called and Mike said, "This happened a year ago. I've had nothing but trouble from you people." My final comments are that Mike could have refused the job if he didn't want it but that isn't what happened. He took the job, charged us $4,600 for a job that was incomplete as well as very poorly done. On top of that he humiliated me when I tried to talk to him one time, then told my husband that he'd had nothing but trouble with us after one talk during which I was just asking him if he thought that was right. Don't use Mike if you think there is ANY reason he might tell you it's your fault that his people did a terrible job.

Hired movers to unpack our truck. They did a fantastic job. Very efficient and worth the money. They unpacked in half the time it would have taken us to do it. Highly recommend giving them a shout for your next move.
