Affinity Federal Credit Union is a nonprofit cooperative that offers financial services to more than 115,000 customers in more than 700 companies and organizations. It manages more than $1.3 billion in assets and operates branch offices throughout New Jersey. It offers members a variety of financial services, including personal banking, automobile financing, mortgage loans, online banking, phone account access and investment services and insurance. Affinity Federal Credit Union was founded in 1935. It operates branch locations, ATMs and safe-deposit boxes throughout New Jersey. AFCU membership is open to residents age 55 or older living in Bergen, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset or Union counties in New Jersey; employees of participating organizations; and immediate family-members of existing members. Most businesses and organizations are eligible to join AFCU.
