Med life responded to an emergency call regarding my uncle Henry Forte. The way the emts acted and treated my family was appalling. You took this job to help people and that is not what happened. The emts brought in no equipment when coming in the house to check on my uncle and did not try cpr. You felt his neck and that was all. Then the emts acted so callous towards my family. The guy emt was downright rude. He should not be an emt. The emts should be sent back to training because they seriously need it. I can only hope no one else has to be treated like this in their time of need.

We were not there when the ambulance arrived we were told by our family what happened. Your EMT's did nothing to save our brother. You walked into the home without your bag, did not attempt to do CPR in those first critical moments. You treated our family and our brother with the most disrespect imaginable. You handled him like a sack of potatoes instead of like a human being. When you signed on for your job you took an oath to care for people and to help them. You did none of this for our family. How many other families have you treated this way and how many of them ended up losing a loved due to your negligence? Didn't you do your training? Every second counts. We will never have the opportunity to visit our brother again thanks to your negligence. To sum this up shame on you for the way you treated our family in our time of need. I would never recommend your company to anyone! We hope this gets investigated and the truth comes out!

Horrible!! I understand that Bastrop Is a small town, however what I don't understand is the lack of respect and rudeness of the paramedics. My uncle recently passed away in january. Part of his passing could be due to the slow response time of ambulance( they didn't have lights or sirens on & drove past the house) they came in unprepared (without equipment), And they showed no hurry to help. Being a former nurse myself (now a SAHM) I am utterly disgusted by the lack of care and compassion that they showed my family. I don't feel that they followed proper protocol! This needs to be investigated further. Someone should have their job taken away. This was a sad pathetic excuse for people who are in the medical field and people will not stand for this. If I could give you no stars I definitely would!! My grandmother and aunt are devastated and your employees have now made a terrible everlasting impression of his last moments that they now have to relive everyday! Shame on you MedLife!

My friend Henry Forte passed away on January 21,2016. Your Ambulance attendants were more than just rude to Henry's mom and sister. First off when they finally got to their house they came in with no equipment and the male attendant felt for a pulse and said " he is dead" and then just stood around outside and when Henry's sister went outside to ask them what was going on and why weren't they in the house trying to help her brother the male attendant told her to shut the hell up and get back in the house. They were very rude to Henry's mom. When they finally took Henry's body out of the house the attendants picked him up by his hands and feet and carried him out to the ambulance. How rude was that? Why didn't they put the body on the stretcher ? The attendants were rude to Henry's mom and sister and very disrespectful to Henry's body. I can tell you we are very very upset with the two attendants and if that is the kind of people you have working for you it's pretty sorry!!!!!

I'm writing to tell everyone what a sorry Ambulance service Med Life is and how rude they are to the families they are supposed to be coming to help ,My best friends brother Henry Forte had a heartache in his mothers kitchen and they were rude to her and even told her daughter Diane to shut up ,they didn't bring their equipment inside .didn't even bring in a gurney , the man just felt for a pulse and went back outside to talk the the other EMT and when his sister told them they needed to be helping her brother ,this man who in my opinion doesn't deserve to wear the uniform EMT told her to shut up and then they picked him up by his arms and legs and carried him out to the gurney ,they can't say they didn't have room because that's a lie I have been in this kitchen and why didn't they try to get his heart going or put an IV in arm ,they might have been able to save him if they weren't so rude and knew how to do their jobs. I think they both should lose their jobs ,end of story.
