Provided by YP.comI have adopted two dogs from this shelter and both times the experience was wonderful. The shelter is clean and well-maintained. Each dog has his own kennel that has access to the outside for pottying. The adoption counselors will help you find the right match for you. The dogs are all microchipped, vet checked, innoculated, spayed or neutered and they have their rabies tag. The adoption fee is pretty low for all of that - $95.00!!
There is a wonderful cat section, too. The cats are in room with their own screened in porches, where they can watch the birds.

Provided by YP.comThis animal rescue/no kill shelter is top notch. The professional staff and volunteers are highly devoted to the rescuse and care of cats and dogs. The beauticul facility in Batavia, OH, pvodes secure and comfortable environments for the rescued animals. Staff become familiar with the character of each animal and try to match the animals to prospective adotive people. Through an interview process, if the prospective adoptee doesn't understand their responsibilties for the animal, the animal remains with the shelter. The world renowned Best Friends animal aoption center in Knab, UT, has acknowledged the outstanding quality of the League for Animal Welfare. That's one reason why we are members for 24 years.
