This has to one of the worst c...

This has to one of the worst campgrounds we have stayed at in years. First off if you are looking for full hookups, don't hold your breath. There are about 40 that are available out of the 400 or so sites. All of them are in phase 3 and of course they are all taken. If you were lucky enough to get one most of them do not have trees and seem to be very close.

Even worse are the bathroom/shower. We stayed in phase 2 and the bathrooms make you want to gag. The screen door is covered in bugs. Most of the toilets don't flush well and have stuff in them. And the showers are just awful. First shower is the handicap and the base is coming apart. My son thought he might try it anyway and as soon as he turned on the water bugs came out. Then there is the 1 inch of standing water on the floor. I assume this is the cause of the stench. The shower does not give much water, but what it does give you have to stand out of the shower to do any good. Probably the cause of the standing water. You would think that the maintenance guys would see this but they have not checked out this facility in days. We were there June 30 to July 3 and it was only checked on the 30th. Trash cans are overflowing.

We proceeded to go to phase 1 where the permanent residents are and found that it had different shower heads that allowed you to take a shower in the shower. And yes the maintenance staff appear to check this one daily and sometimes more than once.

At the campsite there were few sites with tables and none had fire rings.

The pool was better as it was pretty nice. There are lifeguards as required by Indiana. But I have to say most of them were not customer focused. It was 95 degrees and I asked one of I could get the umbrella out and the answer I got was that we prefer not to get it out right now. I would like to know when there would be a better time.

Then there was the WIFI room. I do not know why they bothered. It was alright for email and that was about it. My 3G was a faster connection. Most people were leaving frustrated.

We were at the campground for 4 nights and met a lot of nice people. They seem to cater to the permanent residents and everyone else can just make do. I would never stay here again nor recommend this to anyone (unless you don't like them). I am pretty flexible but this is just plain bad.
