Steuben Child Care Project is a welfare organization that provides and supports child care services. It serves various nonprofit child care centers and group family child care homes. It operates a quality department that supports child care programs through on-site consultations, workshops and seminars. Steuben Child Care Project also offers financial assistance program to help with the cost of child care. It maintains a location in Bath, N.Y. The division is owned and operated by Pro Action of Steuben and Yates, which has been operating for more than 40 years. Pro Action of Steuben and Yates is a member of the National Community Action Foundation, New York State Community Action Association, National Community Action Partnership and Family Development Association of New York State.
