Provided by YP.comSeriously this place has turned out to be a pathetic joke in every way. I've came here for years, but have recently veered away to other seafood markets. First you never know if they're going to have crabs or crawfish hot or live. When everyone else in town is selling, these guys are making excuses as to why they cannot get the seafood. Secondly the taste of boiled seafood has gone downhill, I guess it depends on who's boiling. Also as another stated lots of "straight tails". I'm wondering if they don't reheat cold crawfish as the rubbery texture makes it seem that way. (Seems like every time the old blond haired guy is working the food isn't good and he makes sure to treat you like scum.) Last it is obvious when you go in that people who are more "regulars" or "friends" are treated better and everyone else is treated like 2nd rate citizens. From what I've heard the better sacks of crawfish are kept for the regular customers. The place is filthy nowadays as well, I wouldn't eat anything hot from here. I'm guessing maybe different owners now. There's to many other places close by to get better seafood and better service, as well as being treated properly. Pricing is high as well as others have stated. Definitely a "Has Been".

Provided by YP.comI have tried MANY others, and while the others are good, if you are a cajun and know anything about seafood, you could tell that Jimbo's is indeed the best. Yes, they are more expensive, but they sell "little lobsters", no babies. And, the best flavor ANYWHERE! They are always consistent, nice and busy, for a good reason. I have gone to them for years. Everytime I want crawfish, if I do decide to save $10.00, it is NOT worth saving, I always end up kicking myself until I get my Jimbo's fix!

Provided by YP.comLike the last reviewer said, Jimbo's is more expensive. However I on the other hand will GLADLY pay the extra dollar to have theirs vs the other guys. It is absolutely worth it. With crawfish so juicy you'll want to drink from the bag. The price is worth the flavor, consistency, and honesty. LABoilers? Forgetabout it, the chineese place. Nah no thanks.

Provided by YP.comTheir crawfish are good, some of the best in town. However, paying a dollar or more per pound more than all of the other places just isn't worth it! We call around weekly for pricing and they are always way over everyone else. Once, we even told them how they compared to others and the owner's statement was, "I'm in business to make money not give away crawfish, why dont' you just go to Tony's". Wow, what a way to treat loyal customers. Well, not loyal anymore. Heads & Tails, Tony's. La Boilers, etc. now get all of our business - never again will Jimbo's!
