I've lived in Parc Fontaine since the early part of 2012. The previous management was TERRIBLE. Sometime during the later part of 2013 they took on new management. Everything has been OK, just OK. And then out of nowhere on January 24, 2014 Baton Rouge decided to have a weird icey/snow day. I woke up to a freezing home, expecting to go and turn my heater on. HA! Nope. The breaker I've been having issues with since I moved here (going on 2 years) was blown! Ok well the office that is usually only open until 12 pm was closed, big surprise. I called the 800 number they provided. It took forever for the company to find my apartment in there records. The guy came pretty quickly, fixed the breaker. He said I had uncovered wires!!! Told me it could have burned up at anytime. Whatever, he fixes it then leaves. Not even 30 minutes later, as I'm heading out to work the heat kicks off! I called the next morning as soon as I got up and again a huge issue with them not being able to find my complex in the system. Guy came, said he didn't know what was going on. Told me breaker were blown OH REALLY?!!?!! So here were are no hot water, no heat, dishwasher full of water and nothing is changing. He says it will be Monday (2 days) before they could get a new breaker. Commented "at least you have a space heater" yea ok. Told me to use a cup and fish out the water in my dishwasher. Didn't document that I didn't have hot water!!! I finally decided to stay at a hotel on Sunday so that I could have a hot shower for work. Called the management on Monday. Told her everything and that unexpected some form of reimbursement for my hotel stay. She didn't call back like she said she would. When I called back she said that since it wasn't documented or in my writing that I had no hot water they couldn't do anything for me. It was relayed that i had a space heater so she told me that was assumed to be enough for the weekend. OK! I will be leaving this apartment when my lease is up and also plan to tell everyone I know what happened
