Pita Boy International is a family-owned business established in 1996. It started with select imported Greek & Lebanese foods. In1998, and upon customers' request a Pita Boy Lebanese Grill was added next to the international grocery store. The Deliwas hugely popular. Since we were selling hookah & shisha items in the international housewares section, customers then started asking for a Hookah/Shisha cafe'. That's when we added a Shisha House' cafe. That almost meant we had to work almost around the clock. Since other ethnic groups in Baton Rouge & surrounding towns started asking for their own ethnic foods, the family then decided in 2004 to close off the Deli and the Shisha house and fill the recovered floor space with new Latin/Hispanic, African, European and Russian imported groceries. And, the saga is on...

Pita Boy International Grocery is the One!

I have been for years a customer of this small family owned business. They carry all kinds of foods and drinks. You name it:

Pita bread (pocket small, medium, large, white, wholewheat, thin, thick, lavash, gyros bread), Hommos, Kibbi balls, precooked frozen heat-and-serve gyro meat slices, ethnic Lebanese olive oil; only first grade.

For the Hispanic customer there is fresh and frozen yuca, homemade cuban tamales, fruit pulpos, tostones, maduros, boniatos, malanga, Inka cola, Colombiano drinks, mango and juava juices.

You've got to go and see this little secret store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
