DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE, CANCEL ANY WARRANTY CLAIMS THAT ARE PASSED THROUGH TO THEM. 3 months of no communication, passing the buck, and lies. I received a different story every time I called for a follow up. After catching the owner Ronnie Ruffino in a lie about a backordered part that I found in stock on the manufacture website and calmly tell him he cuts me off SCREAMING AND YELLING about how he wouldn’t go back and forth with me over a dryer and that he was cancelling the claim. Mind you 2 weeks before this he told me he had everything, and that a tech would be calling to schedule install(never called). Haven’t been disrespected like that in years, took a lot not to go there and finish the confrontation in person. Do not waste your time here.

We were supposed to have one of our appliances fixed last Friday. They called Thursday and said they wouldn't be able to fix it until next Tuesday due to yhe flooding in Baton Rouge and people needing help. Fine. Fast forward to Tuesday, Sept 6. Our appointment day. Did anyone show up? NO. Did anyone bother to call us to say "we're on our way" or "we have a schedule issue"? NO. Awful customer service. We've been without a dryer for a week. Don't tell people you'll be at their place on a certain day then don't even bother to show up or call. It takes some nerve to make people miss work waiting for your business to show up and you never do. This place also does business under the name Sherwood Television and Appliances. Avoid BOTH.

Absolutely the WORST service we've ever experienced. Inept from top to bottom. Service person sent to us 3 x and didn't fix problem...absolutely incompetent. Did management care? Not in the least. Run away from this place as fast as you can. Nitwits.

Warning...This place is a joke. Their "serivce" department is terrible.

I have an extended warranty and called for repairs. this is the place they set me up with. I had a call scheduled for 4-6-16. No one showed up or called me. When I called and asked why no one showed up, they said they were waiting for parts. They have not even looked at my refrigerator yet and are ordering parts. A week later the parts come in and I had to wait another week for service. They never showed again. This time I received a phone call saying their truck broke down. Ok I understand that happens but I had to call to get them to reschedule. When they finally show up, their "technician" was there for 10 minutes. He changed a part and said to give it 3 to 4 hours. I gave it 6 hrs and it still was not working. I called their number and left a message. I received a call back quickly from a man who was rude to say the least. He was absolutely no help and told me I had to wait 24 hrs before they would do anything.

It only took three months to get my television from broken to repaired. Sherwood constantly called me 10 minutes before they close to setup an appointment. I've called them in the morning the follow day only to be told that I would receive a call back (which was again right before they close). So getting anything scheduled was a royal pain.



Then we get to the part of fixing a television. Yes, from start to finish it took this company three months to diagnose and repair my television. I don't know how they are doing things at this store; when I do a repair on a computer, I go through a process to verify that it is in working condition before I ever give it back to a customer.



Then to sweeten the whole ordeal on my, thankfully, final call with this company, while being on hold for eight minutes, I am told that my television has been fixed but they are waiting for a good date to deliver it to me. If you do business with Sherwood then expect to be put last. Expect to do all followup calls. Expect an ear full of excuses as to why they repeatedly fail to do their job.

Sherwood TV repairmen are the biggest jerks!! Men don’t let them service your appliance when your wife is home alone. Very rude, condescending and threating. I highly recommend that you NEVER shop or use their repair service.

brought a tv in sitting on a base. picked it up, got home wrong base, I called and they don't have the correct base and was VERY RUDE!!!! DO NOT EVER USE THEM!!

Customer Experience to the MAX!

I recently purchased a TV from Sherwood TV & Appliance and can't say enough nice things about them.



What drew me into the store was it is family owned....what will keep me coming back was the tremendous experience my family and I had.



The team is incredibly knoweldgable about TVs (we bought a 46" Samsung) and helped us find the best match based on our needs, wants, etc.



They were also able to coordinate installation for a complete experience.



Now back to the game. :)
