I scheduled an appointment for my 4 year old and 1 year old, they gave me a month to wait for new patients first visit, which I was eh about. I went ahead and scheduled and the appointment times were 4:00pm and 4:30pm. We arrived at 3:45pm expecting new patient forms to complete. The forms included my 2 children's social security numbers and my personal bank information...puzzled by those questions I left it blank and felt uncomfortable of why are they asking me such questions (we have full dental ins coverages by my husbands employer.)
When 4:15pm came around, I questioned an estimated wait time due to the fact I had a 1 year old and 4 year old with me. The receptionist said it shouldn't be much longer. 4:30 came around and I asked again, then the receptionist had said there is a patient in front of you and you are next. Confused because now my appointment time was neglected and now another patient was ahead of us?? I discussed it with my husband and we gave it one more chance. 4:45 came around and still nothing. Now we have been there an hour, missed our 4:00 and 4:30 appointments as new patients and with 2 young children...I approached the receptionist again. She did go back towards the patients rooms and came back saying "he has 2 more to finish up, they will sanitize and call you back."
My frustration level was beyond pushed and I requested my forms back and that we are leaving. There was no apology or attempt to keep us as a new family of four. Very disappointed and upsetting.

Great staff! I scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning as a new patient. Doc did a great job cleaning my (coffee stained) teeth - gave me a treatment plan (including total cost) and had time to take care of all my treatment same day (two, 3rd molar, extractions and a cavity re-fill). I look forward to my 6 month cleaning!

Rule of thumb: If an office accepts Medicaid, you will not appropriate pain management since they think everyone is pill seeking. I don't have Medicaid but rather paid cash yet I was still denied a couple of days of pain pills after a long and difficult extraction of a rear molar. Go to an office that doesn't take Medicaid if you don't want to be treated like a criminal.
