Horrible customer service. Website says open till 5. I arrived @4:20. Sign says stop @office. Another sign says open till 4:30. Door’s locked, nobody around. Leaving, I see another sign saying they stop taking metal scrap @4:15. I come back next day, in their office before 4:15, according to office clock & my iPhone. Woman sends me out; guy comes out & says “We stop taking metal scrap @4:15.” I say “It’s not 4:15 yet.” He argues w/ me, turns his back & walks away. I start telling him abt yesterday, “Your website says open till 5...” He denies it & finally yells “The website is wrong!” He was wrong, rude & loud. Refused to take scrap, despite my following signs. Pointing out I was following signs could not get him to do his job. I’d gone through trouble to collect scrap, save it from landfill, & try to do the right thing, recycle resources. Employee bullied a middle-aged woman so he could go home early. Don’t even try doing business w/ Franklin. Horrible experience & waste of time.

GREAT SERVICE. I work in a warehouse and was retrieving some old copper pipes and wire. I saw a billboard for Franklin Iron and Metal and thought sure I'd give it a try. I was greeted by very friendly workers and office secretaries. I recommend Franklin Iron and Metal to anyone and I will definitely be back again!
