In response to the other comments on here: When I adopted my cat they required me to take go to the vet and prepay for all necessary shots/treatments prior to adoption. When I stated my concerns about her health, they said that if the vet checked her out and her health was really bad, then I could bring her back and they would refund all costs. So I took the risk and her upper respiratory issues were gone in two weeks and I ended up paying $ 25 on top of the initial prepaid vet fees to get her treatment for worms.

Since then I visit the pound regularly to see if there are any new cats that would be a good buddy for my kitty...every time I go they give me all the details I want to know and always treat me great even though they are busy with other guests and incoming animals constantly. I think they are awesome people:-)
