Joint Clutch and Gear Service, Inc was established in 1946 as a warehouse distributor of auto and truck parts located in Detroit, Michigan. From the beginning, Joint Clutch and Gear Service, Inc emphasis has been on the supply, repair, and design of driveline products to the auto, truck, agriculture, and industrial markets. Romulus Joint Clutch and Gear, being one of Dana Corporation's oldest distributors, became a leader in driveline products and solutions for the greater Detroit area. With a physical presence in Romulus and Bay City, Michigan we currently service customers worldwide. Beyond Dana's Spicer brand, we also provide quality driveline products from Elbe, ArvinMeritor, Neapco and others. Joint Clutch and Gear is proud of our long standing tradition to provide our customers with quality driveline, dynamometer shafts and couplers, mechanical power transmission and clutch products combined with professional service and specialized solutions. Some of our customers include Caterpillar, Chrysler, Cummins Engine, Detroit Diesel, Dynamometer Manufacturers, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, as well as, the performance arena including NASCAR, NHRA, IHRA, NDBA, IMSA and SCCA. Bay City Branch Joint Clutch and Gear expands beyond the driveline arena with such products as Fisher Snowplow and Spreaders, Eaton/Fuller Clutch, Gates and Weatherhead hydraulics and Muncie Power Products.
