I had a BRAND NEW RUDD AC UNIT installed less than 1 year ago, which has a 10 year warranty. If I could, I would stop making payments on the unit.
So why is my indoor house temperature 82* when my thermostat is set at 74*??? & it has been running nonstop ALL DAY!
Yes, it’s Saturday, I call & text Steve because they have 24hr service.....$165 just to walk through the door & he will make that one half mile trip out to my home.....RIDICULOUS! !
Not only is the “house call” fee exorbitant, Steve is ill tempered, profoundly sarcastic & beyond rude.
I feel so very sorry for his demure wife, she has to live wit the F’er.
Steve, get out of the business, you have outlived your usefulness & purpose here in BC & let someone who truly CARES about their customer base & providing CUSTOMER SERVICE & SATISFACTION, that you so obviously & profoundly don’t !!!

I had to have a brand new Ruud AC unit installed for my house back in May of this year. Cost; $5,475, with cash down payment of $2,800, then 10 monthly payments of $267.50 via my 10 per-signed personal checks.
Steve & his crew know what they are doing when it comes to providing product & servicing of their customers needs & concerns with their AC, heating etc.
BUT I felt “bamboozled” & strong armed into paying one half of the costs of the new AC unit up front on the day of installation and then having to sign & turn over ten (10) blank personal checks, to be dated & filled out by Steve on a monthly basis for the fixed amount of $267.50 by which would then be credited MONTHLY to my unpaid balance.
WELL, as chance would have it, SOMEONE @ Bay City Electric & AC
NEGLECTED to deposit my July payment, dated 7/7/18 until 8/3/18 & my August payment, dated 8/7/18 until 9/7/18 and then my September payment, undated, cleared my bank on 9/19/18!!!!!😤 TWO PAYMENTS in September!!! all because SOMEONE @ Bay City Electric & Air Conditioning, can’t seem to abide by their own payment agreement, much less make timely deposits on accounts receivable.
Look, I am a former business owner & I am very well acquainted with how a business is SUPPOSED to function, especially when it comes to the customers money.
Bay City Electric & Air Conditioning Bookkeeping practices & Steve’s interpersonal repore with this individual customer, leaves a great deal to be desired as well as a very bad taste in my mouth.

I am sorry to give this company one star. I would have given it none. I had my furncae repaired and two days later it stopped working. When I called back to let the company know that my ac was not working, he was rude and told me if possible he would come later that day since he was out of town on another job. He calledme later to tell me that if he came out that day, he would charge me extra. I had just paid $174.00, basically for nothing. I went ahead and called someone else, who fixed the horrible job that was done in the first place. Sorry to say that I was taken advantage. I was charged a diagnostic fee along with the repair. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I am very disgusted by this company.

This company is actually interested in what we, the customer wants! I was told things by Bay City Electric that the rest of the contractors giving me bids just left out. I was extremely impressed with them and would recommend to anyone.
