My daughter first went to a consult with Frigo Orthodontics a year or so ago. She had slightly crooked front teeth but nothing major- the first thing Frigo asked her was "does your smile make you self conscience?" She had never been self conscience before about her smile. At the time she was 10 & I was just getting a consult to see if she would need braces at a later date. At that visit, we waited an hour before being seen, had an hour long "consult" where they launched into a major selling tactic about how they offer help with act and college preps, etc, they made my daughter feel bad about her slightly crooked smile & said my insurance wouldn't cover a penny of it and quoted me a $6500 fee!!! Came to Bayview where the staff is so very kind and the Ortho looked at her, told me ins would cover 100% and we got started. They are always so nice and they are always on time with their schedule. We're usually in and out within 30 mins! I'm so happy I came for a second opinion. The people at Frigo are up their own a$$ and will lie to people about what ins covers and doesn't cover. It's a bit of a drive to the Bay but for a $6500 savings I can do it!
