Founded in 1969 and located in Bay Shore, N.Y., Air Industries Group is a small business administration certified small disadvantaged business with annual revenues in excess of $30 million. In November 2005, AIM was acquired by Gales Industries Incorporated, a publicly-traded holding company established to engage in the consolidation of manufacturers, engineering integrators and related service providers to the aerospace/defense and commercial aviation industries. AIM manufactures aircraft structural parts and assemblies for most of the prime contractors in the aerospace industry. The company is the largest producer of flight safety parts for Sikorsky Aircraft. Its core competency includes aircraft machined parts, structural and mechanical assemblies and electrical assemblies. Air Industries occupies three contiguous buildings totaling 76,000 square feet. These facilities include a dedicated machine shop with 18 principal N/C machining centers, an integration center housing quality, assembly and traffic operations, and an administrative area co-located with our warehouse facility.
