If you have an emergency, Centa is probably available and provide service. They will charge you a LOT!

If you think you know them and want to use them AGAIN, sorry, they just don't care about repeat customers. They will ask for reschedule and reschedule and miss their appointment. All without an apology.

Avoid them, even when you think you can trust them.

After the carbon monoxide detector in my house indicated a hazard, and after calling 911, the firefighters suggested I get my old oven serviced. I turned off the gas and pilot for the oven, overnight, and still had high readings for carbon monoxide. Unsure of who to call, I was fortunate to find Centa Plumbing & Heating's website which clearly states that they can inspect your appliances for common conditions causing this problem. Mario Centa was courteous (he called to let me know he was in traffic and on his way), respectful, professional and attentive. He patiently listened to the details of the problem, and then walked me through a thorough process of elimination, testing for carbon monoxide throughout the house. Sometimes service professionals are condescending or uncommunicative Mario was helpful and friendly. This matters to me as the owner of an old "it's always something" house who has had too many people treat me rudely while trying to take my money. Mario referred me to a chimney inspector when we narrowed down the problem. His price ($150) was very fair, both for his expertise, and for coming on short notice. I highly recommend them. If I need plumbing or heating work in the future, I am relieved to have found a reliable company.

i will never change plumbers again. the lovely group of talented men have helped me correct several other peoples work. i am a fremale lanlord and have properties that they always take care of correctly the first time.! my tenants , also love they're service. they are always accomodating and professional.

After undergoing a complete renovation of my co-op in Chelsea, I needed the urgent services of a licensed plumber. Talk about FAST. They secured the permits, and had the work completed practically the next day. And they were cheaper (by far!!) than any other plumber I got an estimate from in Manhattan.

RIP OFF!!!!! The plumber they sent me was not very good and after making several mistakes the owner advised me that to correct his employee's mistakes, I would have to pay extra money - after all, he said, we have to pay for the professional time! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!
