Provided by YP.comI'm a skeptic, all the time. But after Roy spent a great deal of time speaking with me via phone, I was reassured about my choice to hire Houston Auto Appraisers. Boy was I glad I did. Roy and Olivia were nothing but professional, and they were able to recoup a large amount of money for us, as our insurance company had used a third party company known for devaluing vehicles. DO NOT HESITATE to hire them, and I don't recommend companies lightly. I'm not sure about the poor reviews that appear on this site, but from working in the digital design industry, they seem fishy to me. So, just call Roy, or Olivia, and speak to them. I think you'll get a great sense of who they are. Plus Roy is listed and certified with the national Bureau of Certified Auto Appraisers.

Provided by YP.comHouston Auto Appraisers handles thousands of Diminished Value claims. If you never heard about Diminished Value after your car accident then you need to watch the Channel 2 news video on www.HoustonAutoAppraisers.com website. Very helpful.

Provided by YP.comThey are not only stealing your money, they also make fun of you.
They got more than $800 outta my pocket and got nothing in return.
I tried to contact Roy for months but the only thing i receive is a promise to be called back.
Just lies on top of other lies.
Stay away from this scammer, don't waste your money.

Provided by YP.comThey offer no service at all, they only take your hard earned money.
I was in trouble with with a car accidents and i contacted them because they were all over the place on the internet.
The reason why i contacted them is because i was turned down by every single attorney i contacted, apparently they only want to work with injured people.
Roy made a quick estimate, half to be payed immediately, the other half when the whole case was closed.
Little did i know he was just after the first part ($425).
All they did was to send a couple of pre made emails with some numbers to the insurance handling the case. THAT WAS IT.
So far i didn't get what the insurance initially offered me and Roy took $425 before Christmas.
Their disclaimer on their website states clearly, with different words, "we take your money and you'll never see it again".
My opinion after this is that the company is a fraud. I have had different cases in the past handeled by other companies and they constantly update you.
They don't, they have no reasons to.
My best advice is: GO ELSEWHERE, don't stop here, don't do any business with these ppl.

Provided by YP.comThe Insurance company would not accept his appraisal because his "Bureau of Certified Auto Appraisers" is a made up organization. I wasted my money. Hopefully noone else will waste their money. I'm assuming that a lot of his reviews are self written.
Stay away!!!

I'm certified with them and by the State of Texas. I first heard about them on www.duPontregistry.com. The Bureau of Certified Auto Appraisers is a very well known and prestigious organization and I am proud to be a member. I had to respond to this review as it looked like a competitors negative response.

Provided by YP.comThey will take your money, issue a diminished value claim report and disappear. Very hard to get a hold of someone, they do not answer e-mails, no updates, if you need anything help or further assistance they will offer but at a price !!! be aware of this company.

Provided by YP.comI am shocked after reading the reviews about Houston Auto Appraisers. As I have nothing but good things to report about them. I hired them to take care of a diminished value claim for me. The process took a little longer than i expected, but I blame the insurance company for that. Geico was VERY uncooperative. I found all the staff to be very professional and helpful. Everyone was knowledgeable and although the were not able to recover the full appraised amount, they got me more than I would have got on my own. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience.

Provided by YPmobileDo bit deal with these people he sold himself as a certified appraiser and adjuster and that he would talk directly with my insurance company. He is not even licensed and his appraiser cert is through a company he created. Completely fraudulent business

Provided by YP.comThey were very quick to take my $455 for a diminished value appraisal and just one week later even quicker to quit my case. Roy said it was due to their "high work volume" and my "expectations". Really? That is how they conduct business? ***BUYER BEWARE***

Provided by YP.comI want to reach out to Houston Auto Appraisers for helping me with our appraisal. I was rear ended by a teenager who was speeding and texting. She rear ended my 2010 Ford Mustang and totaled it. Her insurance company denied the claim and said she did not pay her premiums so they cancelled her insurance policy before the accident. I had to file it under my own policy with Progressive. It was a nightmare. I have never been involved in an accident much less even a speeding ticket and could not believe the way Progressive's insurance adjuster OFFENDED me by offering such a ridiculous actual cash value. Houston Auto Appraisers fought them on their value and got them to come up $4,800 more. Woo Hoo!!!!

Provided by YP.comI love Houston Auto Appraisers! I love them so much! Thank you for helping me fight Fred Loya and making them pay us for our total loss. My name is Paula Pano and I was hit by an illegal alien driving a 2010 Corvette that was registered to a local business owner here in Houston. The owner of the car tried to say that the driver stole the vehicle then we found out the guy actually works for him and used the car without permission. The guy made an illegal U-turn and plowed right into my 2009 Toyota Avalon totaling it and sending us to the hospital. An insurance claims adjuster offered me $22,000 with taxes, title and licensing fees and I told this to Roy Bent with Houston Auto Appraisers and he told me to not accept it because it was a capriciously low and unreasonable offer. They came to my job and appraised the vehicle at $27,500.00 and settled with Fred Loya at $29,218.75. I was extremely pleased because look people, I nearly lost over $7,500.00 if I didn't hire Houston Auto Appraisers to help me out. I will forever be thankful that there is companies that can help me fight such a big giant as an insurance company. Thanks Houston Auto Appraisers. Oh, the phone number to Houston Auto Appraisers is 1-877-845-2368

Provided by YP.comHouston Auto Appraisers did a fine job with appraising my deceased husbands 1957 Chevy Bel Air. We wanted to donate it to my favorite charity and needed to find a certified appraiser who could complete the IRS Tax Form 8283. Houston Auto Appraisers completed the form for us and appraised our collector car at $65,000. Thanks for your prompt and professional service. I will recommend Houston Auto Appraisers to anyone needing an IRS Tax Form 8283 completed for a non-cash charitable donation. - Barbara Kast

Provided by YP.comI was so happy when the adjuster called me and offered to settle for $4100 on my diminished value claim. Chartis Insurance company is not bad after all. They even reimbursed me for the cost of the appraisal. I am greatful for Houston Auto Appraisers for all their help. Amy and Roy helped me through the whole process. I would recommend them to my best friend.

Provided by YP.comHouston Auto Appraisers is awesome! I have been an attorney for 7 years and I had no idea that diminished value auto appraisers even existed! It is such a shame that the insurance companies are not properly informing car owners who are involved in 3rd party auto accident claims about your services. I will start using your diminished value and total loss appraisal services on every one of my personal injury cases if applicable. Keep up the good work and keep fighting those sleazy insurance adjusters for the uneducated auto owners rights.

Provided by YP.comHouston Auto Appraisers helped me get my $6000 diminished value check. I was recently involved in an accident on I-10 at Silber when we were hit by a speeding truck carrying large boxes of red tomatoes. The driver didn't speak english and the cops just wrote her a ticket for no DL and insurance. My Cadillac Escallade was repaired with over $15000 in damages of which Rancourt Collision & Automotive Repair did a fine job. My attorney Steve Lee referred Houston Auto Appraisers to us. They were just fantastic. State Farm is great also because they were very cooperative and understanding.
I would like to thank Melissa and the rest of the staff at Houston Auto Appraisers for helping me get my $6000 check.
Cheers

Provided by YP.comThe Harris County motor vehicle office wanted me to pay taxes on $12,000 on a truck that I bought for $3,500. They told me that if I didn't want to pay taxes on their presumptive value, then I need to contact Houston Auto Appraisers and speak with one of their Licensed Insurance Adjusters.
They came out to where my truck was located and gave me the Texas Motor Vehicle Form 14-128 with the appraised amount.
I finally got my plates and registration but didn't have to pay them all those taxes when the truck is only worth a little over 3 grand.
Thank you very much Houston Auto Appraisers.
