Horrible, Horrible, Horrible is all I can say...

Okay, back in 2006 I was pregnant with my 1st child was used Dr. Frey because she was my niece's OBGYN with her 2nd child... Thur out my 38 wks things was good, I was happy with my OB didn't see Dr. Frey very often but, I didn't mind because I liked seeing the mid-wife she would explain more and take the time answer my question if I had any and, I always had question beings that if was my 1st child and I was a little scaried... I was indued at 38 wks by Dr. Frey not for any health reason but, just because she asked if I wanted to be indued and I said sure, she never explained to me that there was a higher change of having a c-section when indued... I got to the hositpal at 2:30am and didn't see the Dr. Frey until 9am when her office open... She come in and, said she needed to get a better heart rate from the baby and told me she needed to put fetal montiner on his head and, of course I was scared... As the mid-wife was placing it on his head, I was climbing the bed from the pain then, Dr. Frey turn and looked me in the eye and "TOLD ME IF I COULDN'T HANDLE THAT I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO HANDLE GIVING BIRTH", I was shocked seeing that she HAS NO CHILDREN and HAD NO CLUE WHAT I WAS FEELING at the time... I was loss for words... They finished and left to go back to the office then a few HOURS later called my ROOM and told me I had to have a EMERGENCY C-Section because the baby's heart was dropping... The really CRAZY thing is that if it was such a EMERGENCY why did they have me walk to the OR then, I had to sit out in the hall because they had the WRONG C-Section kit out since I can't use LATEX... Then before they had me go to the OR they was removing the fetal wires from his head in the womb and got 1 stuck and couldn't remove it until after he was BORN... After my son was born I NEVER SEEN Dr. Frey at the Hositpal, she did come to my room once but, I was in the restroom and was about to come out but, she couldn't wait and, talked to me thur the door, wow isn't that crazy!!! Didn't check my cut or anything!!! The ONLY thing that I can say she did GOOD is, you can barely see my C-Section SCAR.... When people ask about Dr. Frey I tell them my story and they them to find a another doctor... (Dr. Frey is the DOCTOR known for giving C-Section) "I give her -100 stars; I was 24 yrs old and, about to be a 1st time mommy, I thought the BIRTH of my child was going to be WONDERFUL not, fulled with Terror"... I'm very BLESSED that my son was born HEALTH!

FOUND another doctor!!!!

Everytime I go in for my appointments, these are the greatest 2 women I have met in the obgyn profession. I see Dr. Frey and her nurse Crystal. I would recommend this group to any of my friends or family members..

I'm truly disgusted by the whole experience and negativity! I've recently transferred doctor because I moved to Baytown from Houston. I've read the bad reviews here but decided to give her a try. Worst mistake ever! I honestly believe that all other "good" reviews are made up from her staff. My first day there was an extremely long wait for hours! What was the point in that?! After waiting for Dr. Frey, I went to make my next appointment with the staff but the nurse told me to "Hold on" instead of "We'll be right with you." As if your personal conversation is more important than the clients?

Dr. Frey's staff need to learn more about professionalism, appropriate behavior, and most of all: RESPECT for all clients!!! And the staff need to stop charging the clients for petty things, just because they feel like it. I came by the office to ask my doctor to fill out a paper from the Workforce Solutions about job restrictions because I'm 37 weeks pregnant and can't lift heavy things, etc. The nurses of course was terribly rude and childish, saying that if I'm not on bed rest then I must work. What's the point on working when I'm dealing with endless nights of sleeping due to my horrible braxton hicks and my loose joints, back, legs, and pelvic are in pain? I don't mind working but I'm about to have the baby any day now so there's really no point in me working. If I went to work and my water break, I wouldn't be able to return to my new job for 3 weeks anyway. I've worked during my first pregnancy all the way until my water broke but every pregnancy is different and this is my second pregnancy, which I have threatened miscarriage and threatened pre-term labor.

I asked if I could just talk to my doctor to have her fill it out. Why do I need to explain everything to the nurses when I could just talk to my doctor, since the staff was being discourteous and pride themselves on their attitude? I felt like I was dealing with a bunch of negative children who want to be rude and they are unsympathetic. I have informed the nurse that I almost had a pre-term labor last month due to a stomach bug and dehydration and I could have the hospital fax the papers but she told me that the doctor will only look at what's in my record. I told her that I was going to have it fax over anyway since the staff refused to believe me. She told me that the doctor will fill the paper out but I will be charge $25 for it. That was the very last straw! I have informed the staff that I'm transferring to another doctor obviously because of the their unnecessary attitude and I gave her a big smile. Because what kind of a person would stoop so low to be vulgar to pregnant clients and treat us with such disrespect and hatred? Bless their poor heart! Prayers to the staff and the business.

Don't go. The office staff is...

Don't go. The office staff is very lazy. Lot's of chit-chat in the back office instead of taking care of the patient when they get there. Long wait times in the office and on the phone; when you call on the phone the answer is "you need to make an appointment". Wait times are too long and they overbook patients. Quality of care is not good.
