Baytown area residents please be advised that if you need transmission work done on your car and you use Wendell's Transmissions in Baytown......he may or may not honor the warranty! Spent $1580 dollars less than one month ago having a clutch put in and it came with a 12mo/12k mile warranty.....(approx. 900 miles later) while driving home the torque arm came off the transmission. Not knowing the actual cause of all the noise, I had it repaired at my local shop to minimize damage. When I inquired about the reimbursement of $147 for the repair due to the fact that torque arm was one of the parts manipulated in Wendell's repair......... I was met with excuses and major attitude!
