Shipwreck Tavern is located across from the beach in Bayville Long Island with beautiful views of the water. Shipwreck serves fresh seafood as well as steaks, burgers, pasta and more. There are 2 outside decks and a tiki bar serving exotic tropical drinks. Inside there are 3 large salt water aquariums. Cool decor, bad service and food

I went there recently and was not greeted or served at the outdoor bar for 15 minutes, I finally walked out.

On a previous visit I had eaten there and the food was overpriced and not very good, tasted like frozen mass produced junk.

Not worth the trip

Don't bother

Ridiculously expensive for below average food. I went twice and will never go back. It is cool looking, and is fun, but then you get your food and the check and it's not so fun anymore.
