I bought a "Certified Pre-owned" Hyundai Elantra from Healey Hyundai. After having the car less then a year the paint flew off the front bumper as I was washing the car! I immediately brought it to the auto body guy down the street who informed me that my car had in fact been in a front end accident. The fender was bent on the inside and the door had been rubbing in a small spot. The bumper was replaced and was never sanded and primed (that's why the paint flew off). It made sense because after i purchased the car, i had to have an alignment on it the following week. I called Healey and they had me take my car up there only to tell me that nothing could be done! They said "at some point the owner has to take responsibility for their own vehicle"! This was the 2nd car I bought from a Healey dealership but my loyalty didn't matter to them (even though I drove over an hour to their dealership because I wanted an Elantra). Their "Certified Pre-owned checklist" is a joke too because the auto body shop crawled under the car and noticed the damage right away! I had to shell out $3600.00 to get my car fixed. After numerous phone calls to Healey, everyone I spoke to shrugged me off! I will NEVER buy another car from them!
