It was our first time ordering at Amore’s pizza(Bear location) and we ordered a takeout for a cheese pizza and a veggie pizza, specifically instructing both pizzas to be made with ‘light’ cheese. We get home to find out that both the pizzas have ‘regular if not heavy’ cheese on them. I call the pizza place to tell them what happened and the lady on the phone asks me how she can fix it. I asked her if they could make the pizzas again and deliver the pizzas to my address and she refused, although they were still open for another half hour. The lady tells me that she will credit me for the pizzas and after spending the next ten mins on the phone trying to open an account with them, I come to find out they are generously giving me a $3 credit towards a future order! I spent $25 for their so called pizzas that tasted like a blob of cheese and I was offered a $3 credit! Next, the manager came on the line and she ups the credit to $5! I told her to keep the $5 and that we will not order from them again. Some customer service from a so called local family owned restaurant!
I just noticed they claim to have a ‘year long’ policy in their website “MONEY BACK GUARANTEED OR NEW PIZZA!”- wonder when that expired!
