Provided by YP.comPeter is a great guy and does amazing work. However, his wife (Jenny) is very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL which is why I will no longer patronize this business. Please understand CUSTOMERS are YOUR BUSINESS and the way you treat your customers can dictate your success! Today, I called to schedule an appointment with Peter, but he informed me that this Sunday he was not taking appointments but first come first serve and the wait isn't that long. I said ok and went to the shop. Upon my arrival, I spoke to Peter and told him that I would wait for him and in the meantime I could get my pedicure done. The two of us were in agreement. Then here comes Jenny from the back of the establishment and sees 6 customers sitting in the waiting area. She immediately speaks to Peter in her native tongue and directs her comments to me! She said very rudely "Come back at 2". I look at her puzzled and she said Peter has an appointment at 1 and you will have to wait. At this point, I got upset because Peter and I already discussed me waiting for him to provide a service to the other clients waiting and I was going to get 2 other services done in the meantime (pedicure & waxing). Jenny's rude demeanor and nasty attitude has caused me to take my business elsewhere which amounts to over $80 every 2 weeks.
They are taking our English speaking dollars and want to talk about us in their native tongue. That's so disrespectful!

Provided by YP.comThey are ok for the most part. The person that I got was really nice but he did not do what I wanted and I even showed him a picture but still couldn’t do it they tried to make me pay for something I didn’t ask for so I informed him and he fixed it. But I would still NEVER GO THERE AGAIN and it was my first time going I guess I’m to much of a nice person but oh well.

Provided by YP.comDO NOT go to Jenny's nails! I try and give plenty of chances but the majority of the people that work there, I'm very uncomfortable with going to. Plus, most of them have bad attitudes ESPECIALLY Jenny, I try so hard to be nice no matter what and just ignore it, But I can't take it anymore. Now I go to top nails and the service is awesome! It's right across the street. Everyone is super nice and they do a great job!

Provided by YP.comWARNING: This salon CANNOT do nails! They are horrible! They are RUDE when they realize you are displeased. Go to TOP NAILS in Governer Sqaure! I only came here because I had an event to attend and Top Nails was closed. The number one clue that this salon cannot do nails is they do not do designs. I did not give a tip and I did not allow them to paint my nails. I had to try to hide the BANGED UP job they did. I do not know any Nail Salon that cannot do Gel Tips.. This salon should seriously consider hiring trained workers and sending the current employees to school to learn how to do nails before allowing them to perform work on real customers.

Provided by YP.comI was referred to this salon by my massage therapist who said they were really good. Well I guess we have very different opinions on what "really good" is. First, the owner is not friendly AT ALL, & I am very particular about customer service esp when I'm patronizing a business. I asked for a gel manicure & she kept trying to talk me into getting acrylic+gel. After about 2mins of going back and forth about the service I was paying for, she finally said okay, pick a color. She filed my nails uneven & when I asked her to fix it, she gave me attitude. Like seriously lady?? Why do you think it's okay for me to pay you to file my nails uneven. My 12yo niece could have done a better job at filing than she originally did. & she cut my cuticles back so far, it burned. Even the thicker skin around the sides of my nails burned. Even after I told her not to dig into my cuticles too much, she kept cutting more. On top of that, my nails aren't even nicely done. I have some see through areas which she refused to cover, & after 2 days it already looks like I need a refill, and I paid 35 for this horrible service. I usually do not patronize Asian businesses due to the fact their customer service is terrible & they treat you like they're rendering you a free service. But I went against my own rule and gave them a chance & I regret every moment of it. But guess what, NEVER AGAIN!! I ordered my own gelish curing lamp & I will be doing my own nails. Screw them I'd rather save myself the money and aggrivation. You Asians wont get another dime of my money!

Provided by YP.comI've been here twice....Pedi's are so-so, cost if good but have had minor problems (polish wasn't extended to the cuticles, a trace of old polish left on one of my toes. I like the place, they take the time to really work on your feet but the attention to detail could be better.

Provided by YP.comI to had an appointment for 9:00 am. Pete was 15 minutes late because he had to take his brother to the dentist, no apology ! Then his wife had to leave so he had to finish her client, besides answering the phone constantly during my appointment. Granted i realize that that's how they make their money by taking appointments over the phone, but couldn't one of the other tech just sitting there have answered the phone ? so my 1/2 hour appointment turned into an 11/2 ! Then I was charged more then the time before ? When I asked why, Pete just mumbled something. I've heard this is typical for this salon, being behind and changing the rates. It's to bad, because he did a good job but, it's not worth putting up with the lack of respect or common decency !

Provided by YPmobileWon't ever be going back here. I've been a customer here at Jenny's for over 6 years & have spent over $80 each time I go on my pedicure, acrylics, designs etc. Mostly every time I have an appointment I have to wait & the one time I decided to still go get my nails done even though my usual nail tech was on vacation & I ended up being cut. I noticed the cut when I was leaving & I called back & explained to Peter that the nail tech had cut me & his response was "Well she is saying she didn't do it" Are you serious? I've been a client here for this many years & you think I would make up a lie? On yet another occasion my nail tech basically told me that me getting a new set every couple weeks is "a lot of work" well last time I checked that's what I paid you for? The final straw however came when yesterday 7/1/14 I went in for a pedicure just a simple pedicure just color & I was hesitant but was in a rush & honestly I could've done the messy half a** job the man did on my feet. I have paint on my cuticles & he cut my one big toe nail down so low it hurts. Jenny's will NEVER get another penny outta me! I now will be going to another nail salon. Oh & another thing while I'm relaxing getting my nails done I don't wanna hear you talking very loud in your native tongue that's very disrespectful to us customers.

Provided by YP.comJenny and Peter are great! They do their best to serve both their regular clients and walk-ins. Sometime, just like at your doctor's office, previous clients' appointments run long and you have to wait for a little bit, but do an excellent job of getting you in as soon as possible. Remember folks, this is a LUXURY service, NOT a necessity. If you can't wait, reschedule. I've been with Jenny's Nails for over 15 years, and the number of people they have to turn away, or who leave because they stand the short delay, is very small. They're a very busy business, and that's great in this economy. It's very easy to judge on negative comments, because they're very often the only feedback given. If everyone who had great service experiences posted here, you'd see the 2 one star ratings really don't amount to much!

Provided by YP.comThe fact that you can have a walk-in is nice, but the actual service is lacking. I only went for a simple Manicure and Pedicure (Gel Nails). My nails came out uneven (in shape) and messy. I had paint on my cuticles on both my toes and nails. You can see my actual nail under the paint and some areas are lighter (more see through than others). Also I smudged my thumb on the Gel machine and the lady got an attitude after I apologized and began to speak in her native tongue in a harsh tone to the other worker sitting next to her. Overall, I could've stayed at home and painted my own nails, they probably wouldn't of been as messy. Nice color choice though .. (as if that makes up for the $60 mess).

Provided by YP.comDon't make an appointment here. They accepted a walk in for the same service I had an appointment for. I told them the room was full and my appoint was for 6pm. Well, my response was its only 6:10 now. Yes, that's my point. Here it is 10 minutes past my appointment, you allow a walk in before me and instead of apologizing Jenny argued with me when I told her if you don't have time you shouldn't take appointments. These places are a dime a dozen. I will not return. Shame on you Jenny.
