A freind and I went to Beaufort to see a freind that had just moved to Beaufort. She tooks us to Luther's for lunch. I was awful. It is hard to mess up a hambuger, but they did. not just once. Ms. B and I ordered the american. We both have to send it back, and the second buger was not as bad as the first. We had ordered medium rare, the firstones were letterly burnt and the secound ones were only burnt on one side.

The two waitresses were fighting a silent battle. the stress in the place and between those two could be cut with an axe. Never again, i'll go to Hardee's Joyce everett

I went to Luther's on April to 9th 2011 and had a horrible experience.

My extended family was in town and my son wanted a good cheese burger on the river. I suggested Luther's because the last time I was there I had a great experience. “NOT this time" There was a very obnoxious lady doing a door prize drawing. Her volume was piercing and she was making rude sexual comments’. The musician was from Key West and was doing adult only material with “I counted no less than 11 children in the dining area. I was shocked. I had my grand kids with us... I was embarrassed. I, like always, enjoyed the hamburger and so did the rest of my family. Not sure if I will ever go there with a group again? The lady doing the drawing was plum nasty. You know? Like why, if there are kids in the room would you disrespect the audience and the families with such vulgar behavior? The bad thing is that the music man was obviously talented and didn't need to be a pig to draw his crowd in. The lady that weighted on my table was fantastic and the food was good, However, the 2 running the restaurant that night has me and at least 2 other family's I spoke to outside, thinking that we will not return for the great food. So, maybe 5:30 on Saturday don't consider Luther's a restaurant to take your family. It may just be a run of the mill “BAR” taking space up on Bay Street? But with that kind of disrespect … I mean do you want a 10 year old repeating the stroke it song in their 5th grade classroom. If I knew Luther's was serving Pig, I would have asked for potato salad…
