When ever you are in Beaufort, try Maryland Fried Chicken. It is a small fast food type restaurant with a drive thru and limited seating on the inside. The employee's are very friendly and nice. We all tried the Fried Chicken Livers, and they were cooked perfect and were very tasty. we ate inside, and it looked old, but clean. I had cole slaw & french fries with my fried livers and it also came with a bread roll. My father-in-law had the livers with baked beans and fries and my wife had the livers with baked beans and slaw. We all loved it, it was the best livers we had since Grandma. The sides tasted great... We couldn't eat it all and had to take some home. The next time we are in Beaufort, SC we will stop at Maryland Fried Chicken again, and this time we will try the chicken. The restaurant sits right behind the Piggly Wiggly Grocery store, has a red sign with a yellow chicken on it. We can't wait to try some more of their menu... good food fast!
