Provided by YP.comWe have taken my son here for 8 years and love the staff! My son has special needs and we have seen just about every physician there with nothing but help and understanding. They have a sick child waiting room as well as well child room and their walk in clinic in the morning is awesome. I highly recommend!

Provided by YP.comI was very disappointed in how we were treated at BPC.I worked in the medical field for a long time. I know doctors don't like to diagnosis children at young ages because of the chance of misdiagnoses, and liability issues. You failed to help identify struggles. The ball was dropped. There were concerns during pregnancy. Do you tell a child they don't have cancer because there hair isn't missing? Unfortunately, that's your loss we pay lots of money for our health insurance and we have the option to go where we choose. See I didn't ask the Physician to know all the answers? Medical Technology is good but we still don't have all the answers. What my expectations were from your physicians was to give my children the attention they desired. After all I spent more than 20 minutes with my daughter. Shortly after receiving your letter of dismissal my daughter had her first seizure. Hospital referred us to TCH for a MRI of her brain. Luckily from there we were diagnosed. Not a good look.

Provided by YPmobileOur experience with all of the doctor's has been great. Most of the nurses are nice. Doctor Hubbell's nurse, Laura, is very rude and unprofessional. She's also judge mental. If you say something that she doesn't agree with then she just stares at you like you're an idiot. Laura is also the nurse in charge & can apparently treat patients & parents however she pleases. You're not allowed to switch doctors within the practice. The guy that answer's the phone is often rude. The girl at the checkout desk is rude, always in a hurry, & makes you feel like you & your child are just a number. All she says is "last name? Need a note? Sticker or sucker?" She says this all fast, very rudely, and in a hurry. She never looks up or smiles & often slams stuff around. Nobody at the front knows what's going on & supposedly anybody higher up is never in their office when you need a question answered. And I feel awful sorry for you if you ever decide to complain to their devil of an office manager. They're all one big miserable clique up there. Don't even bother voicing your concerns or complaints to them. They're right, you're wrong, & they can do no wrong.

Provided by YP.comI had not taken my 16 year old son in for an appt. for 3-4 months shy of 3 years. First of all, he's completely healthy, the one or 2 times he did get a URI, they weren't open anyway, so we had to go to a clinic. I am an RN and I knew how to keep track of any adolescent milestones, took him for regular eye exams, and so forth. Well he did need a Dr. for some reason (don't recall now specifically) and I asked for Dr. Brown (whom we have always ADORED!). The nasty, nasty, office manager said we could not come in since he hadn't been seen in 2 years and 8 or 9 months, which (as she said) "is technically 3 years" so he can't be their pt. any more since they don't see pts. after 3 years. I told her, "No. 2 Years and 8-9 months is *technically*, 2 years and 8-9 months, not "technically 3 years". She was not amused and hung up on me. Too bad, because they used to be good pedis.

Provided by YP.comMoved to Beaumont. First saw Dr. Hubbel. He was ok, no problems with him other than being a little impersonal. Next visit we saw Dr. Brown as Dr. Hubbel was out of the office. She and my children seemed to "click" much better.
I talked to office manager. She said office policy does not allow you to switch providers in the office. I talked to her and said this made no sense to me. She tried her best to explain to me why they do this. I tried to explain why it is ridiculous. I even tried to explain that I have a little girl and cant you understand that just perhaps little girls are more comfortable with another female examining them? They didn't care. I relented and said ok. We will stick with Dr. Hubbel as we are okay with him.
Fast forward one week. I get a certified letter in the mail from this office. It is from Dr. Hubbel. It says he is sorry to hear we are unhappy with him and the office policies of switching providers and they are removing our children from his clinic. WOW.
I never said anything bad about him, I just inquired about the policy. I also never requested to leave the clinic. Apparently you not only can't switch providers but IF you request to do so your children will be forcefully removed. Isn't that a bit of retaliation for you.
I think these physicians need to realize they are servicing children. You get that CHILDREN! So maybe just maybe they should stop acting like Children and try to be the slightest bit accommodating.
I will be filing a complain with the BBB, along with other agencies. If anyone wants to join in please email me at [email protected]

Provided by YP.comI was told by office staff that "once you leave they will not accept you back." They never asked why I left before giving me this rude statement. I know people and those people won't get referred to Beaumont Pediatrics by me!

Provided by YP.com"last name" " rude office manager" Most doctors at Bmt Pedi are ok, a few lack good bed side manner.... Dr Roesler and Hubbell are hands down the best there. The office staff is hit or miss, and seem to be lead by a rude overbearing office manager who has everyone running scared. Customer service follows the office managers attitude of what suits them and does not seem to be about making the patients or their parents feel most welcome or important. It is extremely hard to get called back in a timely manner and very difficult to get appointments for well cks. Be sure and be on top of things, the staff is quick to tell you it is not their job to remind you to make appointments for follow ups or well checks. They get paid to sit there, it seems, and it seems to be allowed to be rude to patients and when a mother walks in to ignore them and blurt out... last name please. I prefer to give my business to a place that deems it important to look at me in the eye and thank me for using them and to ask me what my last name is with a smile on their face!!!!

Provided by YP.comIt has a few good qualities, like separate waiting rooms for sick and well children. But every time I go it seems like the wait gets longer and longer. I will sit in the waiting room for at least an hour and sometimes a half hour in the patient room with my son. My son had to have blood work done several times and quite possibly has a blood disorder and no one could ever answer my questions. Couldnt tell me the results of the blood work, talk to one person and they would tell me one thing and then get a call back and get told something totally different. I got fed up with the run around and no one knowing squat and you hardly ever get to talk to the person who contacted you in the first place who seems like they know whats going on, its always someone different. I got so fed up i found a different doctor and feel alot better about my decision and now I also have a doctor who will stand there and talk with me and answer all of my questions no matter how small or stupid they may be
