Sadly my stepfather used Eastex Automotive. October 2013 he brought his truck in. Didn't get it back till December and paid 3000$. Same problem and the owner (Clark) tells him to bring it back in and he warranties his work. Well today, September 9th he goes to pick up the car. A year after initial services. Not only has Clark cleaned out all paperwork in his truck but gives him a 6,800$ invoice. No agreement had been made to exchange money. My step dad took out of his 401k to get that truck fixed the first time. Clark brags about selling his house for half a million dollars but screws you out of your honest money. I feel bad for him.

Go to autozone if your check engine light comes on because its free over there to find out what the problem is. I was never told it would cost me $87 until after i bought something else from him and noticed the charge on the bill. Way to keep it classy. You'll never see my face in there again!

Check his F rating at the Better Business Bureau before you do business with Mr. Clark Winslow with Eastex Automotive. I was doing a project car and went to see Mr. Winslow because I needed some fabrication done to my car. He said yes we do this kind of thing all the time. So to get started I very foolishly fronted him $3000.00 in a check. Going on 2 years he had done very little to my car. I had to get a Civil Servant and demand the return of my car. I had to sue him in small claims court for the remainder of my money. I was awarded a win in court, however was only awarded $500.00. It looks like a nice clean business, but the management (Clark Winslow) is a Dirty Crook!!! BEWARE!!!

I've used Eastex Automotive for my car repair several times. After knowing the problem, I called several different repair shops. Clark at Eastex was by far the best price. The entire staff was/is great to work with. I will ONLY go to Eastex!

Don't be deceived by the store. It looks nice but the staff provides terrible service. After paying quite alot, my car still had the same problem. I had to take it to someone else.

We are treated with no respect. They do not even deserve one star. All they say is a lie. The onwer (Clark) keeps giving us excuses in order to postpone the vehicle as long as he likes. Not even that, the vehicle is under worse condition after being fixed. We took it back. After being kept for another weeks, the car's performance is not improved at all. This proved that they are not qualified enough to fix cars. We wasted a grand on this Eastex Automotive. We thought about filing an online complaint to the Better Business Bureau to help other customers not to get in the same situation. Hope this helps.

Easttex Automative is a great automative repair shop in Beaumont. Clark and Casey Winslow, owners, are wonderful, friendly people who stand by their customers and employees. Prices for work are fair and resonable. Work is done in a timely manner by trained mechanics. Highly recommend this business for your automative repair needs.
