I can't give this shop even one star. I have a weed eater that was working perfectly. However, one day it accidentally caught a small piece of string that wrapped around the part that holds the spool. I could still use the weed eater just fine, but thought it should probably be removed so took it into Beck's to have them remove it. The gentleman behind the counter said he would have to take the engine off to remove it. When I picked it up about 2 weeks later, the same gentleman told me it cost $15 cash, no tax, so I paid $15 cash & brought it home. Within about 5 minutes of using it, the part holding the spool completely fell off! So I took it back to Beck's since they obviously hadn't put it back together properly & not only would he not repair it or give my $15 back, he actually yelled at me! He told me it was my fault it broke for getting that piece of string wrapped around it! That string did not break it--It was working perfectly! I will never take anything back there again & never recommend them. Also a few years ago my husband took in his lawnmower to be repaired, & they did not put it back together properly either & it never did work right.

They have a good selection of parts and they are capable of doing the repairs. Hardly any repair shops are inexpensive. That's just the way it is. Mr. Stihl trimmer man who complained about a $56 repair is just not very well informed of what the average repair at an outdoor power equipment repair shop is.
2 weeks is about a week to week and a half and 56.00 isn't too expensive. Geesh
