Simply Wonderful!

My son and I absolutely love The Wonder Years Learning Center. I was looking for an Emilia Reggio preschool and found more than I could have hoped for. The hours are great for working parents and the class environment is homey, yet structured. The student to teacher ratio is very low so the children become like a family. Since my son is an only child, I love that he gets to help take care of the younger ones as well as develop friendships with kids his age. The teachers have years of experience and I am always learning things from them myself. I also love that this school is culturally diverse. There are books that reflect the diversity in the class and my son is more than ready for kindergarten. In fact, we've decided to keep him at The Wonder Years for kindergarten next year. They have a great big yard to play in, a little garden to grow vegetables, and can observe nature easily and safely every day. There are plenty of crafts, art, and hands on activities throughout the day to keep the children engaged. There's no screen time at this school! The teachers are always watching to see what the students are interested in and they bring that in to the classroom to facilitate their learning. As the name of the school suggests, teachers encourage children to ask questions, find answers, and wonder about the world around them. Thank you Nupur Sinha and teachers for creating this amazing space.

My kids love this place!

Both of my kids love coming here each day! They are constantly learning new things and their growth and independence are well supported here. The food they are given is very high quality and they enjoy it. The teachers have the perfect balance of being kind and fun-loving while maintaining decorum and a mutually respectful environment. The teachers communicate well with the children as well as the parents and treat each child as a valued individual. I highly recommend The Wonder Years Learning Center!

Wonderful Wonder Years

We are so grateful for the Wonder Years Learning Center! My daughter started attending in Dec 2012 3-4 days a week while I work full time. The hours are great for a working parent, and I never worry about my daughter. There is great diversity at the school, and I think that is very important for children to be exposed to, and appreciate different ethnicities and cultures from young age. My daughter always has a new song, or a new story to tell me about that she learned at school. She will be starting kindergarten in the fall, and it is the teacher's mission at Wonder Years to teach kindergarten readiness. Thank you for the wonderful teachers at Wonder Years Learning Center!

Excellent Environment for Learning!

My son is lucky to attend this school. It has a really good teacher to student ratio, which means that he gets a lot of attention from his teachers. The school is arranged in "stations" that allow for different types of creative expression from art projects to plays. My son learns to do the alphabet and count through fun, hands-on art projects. He also gets to explore science and cause and effect through learning centers set up by the owner. I really appreciate that she uses recycled materials that help the environment. One of the best things about this daycare is the owner. She really has a passion for nurturing children and fostering their learning. She has an MBA degree, but through her experience at the Children's Museum she realized that she has a passion for helping children learn and develop. She invested a lot of her own money into finding the best, most interactive curriculum that helps children learn. She implements that curriculum daily with neat activities that keep the children engaged and learning.I highly recommend this daycare. Go check it out--you will be surprised at how spotless it is--especially with the amount of projects they do in a day!

What a wonderful place for young children to learn!

Before moving them to The Wonder Years, I had my toddler and preschooler in a home-based daycare setting, where their days were spent watching cartoons or playing outdoors. As my children became more mobile, talkative, and inquisitive, I knew they needed an environment which would honor their curiosity and develop their understanding of the world around them. I'm so fortunate that I found The Wonder Years; the teachers there follow a philosophy called Reggio, which uses children's natural interests and curiosity as a vehicle for their learning and development. There is lots of play, but also lots of learning as they play. My children's days are not filled with cartoons, but books, poems, paintings, and experiments! If you are a parent who wants your young child to play, but also to question, explore, and learn, this is a wonderful preschool!
