John Glenn Middle School is affiliated to the Bedford Public Schools district. Located in Bedford, Mass., JGMS offers educational and extracurricular programs for children from grades six through eight and conducts a wide variety of seminars, summer youth camps and church organized retreats. The school s extracurricular activities include knowledge bowl, junior-senior banquet, senior trips, state fine arts and academic competitions, band and choir concerts and National Honor Society. John Glenn regularly organizes an array of social events, such as musical concerts, alumni banquets, donkey basketball games and field days. Its curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, physical education and health, occupational and special education, music and arts and crafts. JGMS offers a number of interscholastic sports programs, such as girl s and boy s basketball, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, badminton, swimming, soccer and softball.
