Established in 1996 by Larry and Ester Aguzzi, Country Kids Schoolhouse is an independently owned and operated childcare program located in the heart of Northern Westchester. As parents of four children and former restaurant owners, the Aguzzis have created a warm home-like atmosphere that offers a nurturing environment supportive of children's emotional and educational development. Small by design, the low student-to-teacher ratio ensures that your child always receives the personal attention needed to prepare for a successful transition to kindergarten. Country Kids Schoolhouse children flourish in a safe and loving environment that facilitates learning and enrichment. Our dedicated teachers have been carefully selected for their ability to create positive, trusting bonds with young children, and have been a part of our care-center family for many years. Country Kids Schoolhouse is fully licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, and is an active member of the Child Care Council of Westchester and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). By providing children with a secure setting for learning and development, we also provide parents with a much needed peace of mind.
