Bedford Health Complex BHC has the worst Customer Service I have ever seen!! Perhaps that is why there is never more than a handful of members actually in the gym?



I signed up for a years membership which was taken out through my bank account. My one year contract ended in September, so I sent a certified letter to owner in August requesting the cancellation of my account and to stop my bank draft.



Well, come September my bank account was drafted again. That was on the 12th of September. I then went to talk to the owner and he reassured me that the account was cancelled and that I would see a credit shortly.



I went to the gym to talk to him again the next week and his daughter reassured me that I would be given the credit on my bank account, that it normally took 2 weeks. Well, it is now October 9th and I called the gym tonight and spoke with an associate, Chris, and he told me my account was not cancelled in the system!!



Last year in December I was double billed. I showed management and they stated that all of the billing files were lost, so they created a new file, which in turn created a double account under my name. It took forever for management to get it straightened out.

My husband and I had looked into this gym a few years ago, and it was under bad management. A few months ago we went looking for a new gym and decided to take another look at BHC. Turns out, it has (kinda) new management. Some business partners have left, and now has one single owner. We ended up sigining up and have been super happy with them. They have a GREAT kickboxing class!

This is a great health facility but terrible business managment. I paid the year in full and they in turn sold my 'application' to a finance company. Now I'm being hassled by the finance company. BHC swears they have taken care of the problem, but I just receive my 2nd installment past due note.
