This shop is technically a very good place to repair older equipment and to buy older equipmen that has been refurbished. But, if you take something to them for repair first take lots of pictures of your device including pics of the plate with the part and serial numbers and get a receipt showing what you handed to them and when.

Itook a receiver I bought when I just graduated from college. It was a Yamaha with a unique loudness control. Dallas Audio lost it. I am not really that upset. The problem with thunit was more than likely uneconomical to fix and I didnt have to pay them the $25 diagnostic charge. You just need to prepare to help them with their disorganization. Their inventory system is very visually oriented.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. The owner will commit to buying your vintage equipment then he will refuse to pay you, despite a Judgement against him. He will lie, scream, and bully you to get his way. Mr Yoder, the owner, is DISTRUSTFUL and DISHONEST. RUN AWAY as fast as you can!!
