I am fond of saying "every patient is custom-made". I believe that spending time and listening to patients is the key to choosing the best treatment options. I partner with my patients and I feel strongly the patient-doctor relationship requires input from both sides. By educating patients about their condition and the available treatments we can choose the best option together. At HeartPlace our physicians and staff routinely go above and beyond because..."every patient is custom-made". ​ Dr Eifling has led medical expeditions to remote regions of the Himalayan mountains. On these trips he provided care to under-served residents of India and Tibet and directed the care of patients with rheumatic heart disease. Recently, Dr. Eifling organized a team of heart rhythm doctors to perform complex ablation procedures and cardiac device implants in Cambodia. ​ Dr Eifling is actively engaged in research and clinical trials. As a result, you may get a new treatment before it is available to everyone.
