I was shopping for books (not much to choose from, there). I was wearing a mask, and after a while, I found myself breathing heavily and feeling faint, so I removed my mask. An employee told me to put it on, and I explained that I felt that I was about to pass out. She still insisted that I put it on, but I did not comply. She called the manager, and the manager ordered me out of the store. Bad vibes in that place.

Good customer service. Employees are very courteous.

Just there a few days ago and got assistance with finding books immediately. Checked out and it only took a couple minutes. Good experience all around. Maybe the day of the week (Thursday) and time of day (early afternoon) made the difference. I've always had a satisfying experience there and the staff has always been courteous at the Bedford, TX Half Price Book Store.

Took almost an hour and a half to have them give me an offer on 2 small boxes of books. There were tons of employees there but only a couple actually doing any work. I will probably give my books to Goodwill next time. Its not worth the long wait time and hassle.
