AVIOD! I have a 1994 dodge ram 1500 4wd. I paid $1500 for a transmission rebuild. I have not even put 3000 miles on the vehicle and have had to take the truck back 5 times!!! First it was for slipping, they said it was fixed. 2nd was for slipping, they said it was fixed. 3rd was for slipping, they said it was fixed. When i got i back this time, I warmed up the truck at my house and saw that the transmission pan and the cooler lines they worked on were both leaking fluid. So the truck will continue to have transmission problems because it will constantly be low on fluid. So I took it back a 4th time. They said it was fixed. IT WAS'NT. Still leaking! So I took it back again and told them the truck is still leaking. All while stuck in their office full of second hand cigarette smoke. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! The owner acted surprised and after telling them to just use silicone gasket maker on the pan and to simply replace the cooler line with a factory one instead of using cheap compression fitting that leak, he said "I've been doing this for 27 years!" He said it would be fixed by the next evening. IT WAS'NT! I came back for the truck and one guy was there and told me he had been there all day alone working on 3 transmission by himself! Fluid is still leaking and now I have to take the truck to another shop and try and convince or force the owner to reimburse me. I'm sure he won't. The transmission work they did is still under warranty, but this is meaningless if fools like this are there to back it up. Also, they rarely answer the phone. One time I got someone and he told me he was just the owners friend answering the phone for them so he couldn't really help. I would need to talk to the owner in person. So unprofessional. Absolutely the worst garage experience of my life.
